A combination of the functional and the irrational, Ribcage was designed to conform to the user's shape. Inspired by a rib cage, the CNC-cut plywood is hung from a steel tube frame. Embracing its industrial materials, Ribcage's unique form is like nothing seen before. When sat in, the wooden 'ribs' swing and form to user's silhouette. Purely hanged by only a tube, similar to a clothing hanger, its free-flowing slats allow one to customize the rhythm of the wooden ribs, giving the chair modularity focused in ergonomics. Ribcage hopes to stun and satisfy the curiosity of onlookers.
